Primary Care Plus announced that Dr. Andrea L. Stirgus joined its Westwego clinic in November 2021. Dr. Stirgus joined the health care industry as a certified nursing assistant in 2009. She has been treating acute and chronic patient conditions since completing her doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. Dr. Stirgus is board-certified in family medicine and board-eligible in geriatric medicine.  She is a current member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Geriatric Society and the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.
