Primary Care Plus announced that Dr. Vern Palmisano joined its Slidell clinic in May 2023. Dr. Palmisano is board certified in family medicine and specializes in treatment for vertigo and dizziness. He has over 30 years of experience as a health care provider. 

Dr. Palmisano earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Millsaps College and a Doctor of Medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Prior to joining Primary Care Plus, he served as a primary care physician in the St. Tammany Health System and an assistant professor for the Louisiana State University rural family medicine residency program.
