Primary Care Plus announced that family nurse practitioner Trakissia Tolbert joined its Baton Rouge – O’Neal Clinic in February 2024. Trakissia is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

 Trakissia holds a master’s degree in nursing from Southern University and A&M College. Prior to joining Primary Care Plus, she worked as a family nurse practitioner for Ochsner Health and an adjunct professor for the Southern University School of Nursing.
